I am giving 5 stars to the staff at Lone Pine, because they showed true compassion when my young daughter and her boyfriend’s truck got stuck and then completely sank in the river. She was scared, crying, wet, they had no money or ID and had no where to go. The staff worked with us to get them accommodated and even gave them dry clothes to wear. These are good people. Thank you so much! We are so grateful.
Super cute old hotel. Built around 1950 and shows. We stayed in room 4 which is kind of is own spot. Bed was comfy, the room was clean and quiet. No coffee in room andno shampoo or conditioner so bring your own. Owner is very kind and accommodating, as well as the cleaning staff. For the low price I was extremely pleased with it and would stay there again. We stayed 3 days 2 nights.
It was a charming little rustic motel located in downtown garberville. The room was spotless and the beds comfy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Im being honest when they told me last person in room smoked cigs I thought it was a smoking allowed room. There was proof. I opened window to air out or I would have asked for another room. Basic, cheapest room I saw in town. If thats what you need with a working hot shower, heater, and tv then stay here.

Dispite it being in a remote area. It was ok! Management was very nice, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and I definitely got what I paid for! Anytime I'm up that way for Raggae on the river, I'll definitely stay here! AND THEY HAD THE BEST PILLOW I'VE SLEPT ON IN ANY HOTEL IVE EVER STAYED IN..I normally bring my own (and sheets and covers)! I literally paid him extra to keep the pillow I'm still enjoying it and it's my new travel pillow. I was able to retire my last one I've had for more that 10+ yrs!
This place is a dive! There's got to be something better in Garberville California? If you are passing through town, do not go here, hopefully there's something better in this hoe-dank- town? I love marij uana, but this town has destroyed lt's image.
The rooms were clean. It was a small older motel but nothing to complain about.
